Charleston, South Carolina rice mill company located at the west end of Tradd Street. Chisolm's Rice Mill was founded by A.W. or George Chisolm during the late 1820s and later became the property of R.T. Chisolm and Sons. By 1850 the mill employed 80 workers and annually pounded 20,000 barrels of rice. In January, 1859, the main plant and most of the adjoining buildings were destroyed in a fire.
